BRITISH historian David Irving admitted in an Austrian court overnight to having denied the Holocaust in 1989 but said he no longer holds that view. For the record, I never agreed with David Irving. I thought his analysis of the ‘evidence’ ignored the most basic and glaring evidence right before his eyes (and that's ignoring the eyewitnesses): the sheer number of camps dotted around Europe by the end of WW II.
But three years in prison? For statements he made 17 years ago?
Just as I didn’t agree with Irving, I do not agree with this.
